Kanishka I. A.D. 127/8-ca. 147. Æ drachm. King seated on throne, head left, with one hand raised / Ithyphallic Oesho (Shiva) standing left, holding trishul and kalash, with Bactrian legend OHPO at right. ANS Kushan 633. All of Kanishka's seated type coins are rare. This variety with Oesho on reverse is one of the rarest in this series - only 1 specimen is recorded in the ANS. Brown patina. A few areas of roughness. Good fine.
