Claudius. AD 41-54. Æ Dupondius (28.5mm, 12.95 g, 6h). Mint in Gaul. Struck circa AD 41-42 or later. Bare head left / Ceres seated left on ornamental throne, holding two stalks of grain and long torch. Besombes & Barrandon, "Nouvelles propositions de classement des monnaies de «bronze» de Claude Ier," in RN 2000, pl. VIII, 6 (Monnaies 'à la grosse tête'); cf. RIC I 94; cf. von Kaenel Type 58 (for official issue). Good VF, dark green to black patina.
