Israel - Set Agora and Lira - The Government of Israel - 1963 - Very rare.
A government set containing a variety of coins from the Agora and Lira periods, dating back to 1960-1963. The sets include coins of the denominations 1, 5, 10, 25 agorot and one and a half lira. Are found in the booklet "Harder", a hard blue booklet with the inscription "Bank of Israel" on it.
This set is never sold to the public, and is only given to "key people" in the government and the economy. Very few are known by collectors and are visible in the market.
In the 80s a similar set was sold for about $ 2,200.
