Palestine - 500 mils 1945 - PMG35
Although the British Mandate ended in 1947 and the note were allegedly used for two years, only four are known to be graded above the 35 grade. The banknote graded 35 with no comments on the grading slave.
Mils was the currency of the British Mandate of Palestine from 1927 to May 14, 1948, and of the State of Israel between May 15, 1948, and June 23, 1952, when it was replaced with the Israeli lira.
Reverse: Guilloches; the denomination in Hebrew, English and Arabic; illustration of the Tower of David.
Obverse: Guilloches; the denomination in Hebrew, English and Arabic; illustration of the Rachel's Tomb.
