MALDIVE ISLANDS: Imad ad Din IV, 1900-1904, AR 4 laari pattern, Mahle, AH1320, KM-Pn3, Schon-4a, Browder-89, pattern for the copper 4 laari, type KM-40.1, without sana beneath the date, plain edge, NGC graded MS62, RR. Krause (SCSW) has added a pattern type for KM-40.2, which has sana below the date, but Schön lists a silver pattern only for the type without sana, i.e., KM-40.1. I suspect that Schön has attributed it correctly. It was cited by Browder in his 1969 publication. The only pattern example listed on CoinArchives, graded bold Extremely Fine, sold in our Auction 18, Lot 2047, for $3400.
