PATALUNG: tin bia, ND (ca. 1880s), Pridmore-224, in Chinese, nan pang t'ung pao (money of the Southern State) // in Thai, pata lung, with traces of two countermarks, EF, ex Scott Semans May 1977. According to W.W. Skeat in 1899, 400 bia = one dollar, as told to him by the Siamese Governor of Patalung. A superb example!
