AWADH: Wajid Ali Shah, 1847-1856, AV ashrafi (mohur), Lucknow, AH1264 year 2, KM-378.1, coat-of-arms supported by mermaids, bold strike, perfectly centered, with full borders on both obverse & reverse, NGC graded MS65. A similar piece, struck with the same pair of dies and also graded MS65 by NGC, sold in our Auction 25, Lot 961, for $2300.
