KAITHAL: Lal Singh, 1781-1819, AR rupee (11.18g), "Sahrind", AH1198, KM-10, SS-291, 8-petal rosette in the N of bichun on the obverse, 4 pellets between the U and S of jalus, date in minuscule numerals but very clear, EF, RR, ex Mohun Singh Collection. All issues of Lal Singh with legible dates are very rare. His name is sometimes spelled Lall Singh, but we have followed the SikhiWiki spelling here.
