KAITHAL: Lal Singh, 1781-1819, AR rupee (11.10g), "Sahrind", AH1220, KM-10, SS--, 6-pellet rosette in the letter N of bichun and full date on the obverse, 5-petal flower to left of S of jalus and Patiala style kalgi to the right of the S, EF, RRR, ex Mohun Singh Collection. A very similar type, with the same 5-petal flower on the reverse, is a rare issue assigned to Karam Singh of Patiala, which has a 3-petal flower in the N of "bichun" on the obverse (SS-208).
