GREAT BRITAIN: Victoria, 1837-1901, AR medal, 1887, BHM-3219, Eimer-1733b, 78mm, Official Royal Mint Jubilee Medal by Boehm and Leighton: VICTORIA REGINA / ET IMPERATRIX, crowned and veiled bust of Victoria left // Queen Victoria enthroned and flanked by Science, Letters, Art, Industry and Agriculture, with two cherubs above holding shields reading MDCCCXXXVII and MDCCCLXXXVII with figures of Mercury and Time below, and IN COMMEMORATION at top; in exergue, five small shields inscribed ASIA, AMERICA, EUROPE, AUSTRALASIA and AFRICA, in with original case of issue, some light surface hairlines, with lovely toning, AU. With handwritten period tag inside the case "Crystal Show / Poultry Show / 1887 / Prize for Light Brahmas [chickens]"
