ALMY / Jan.7. 1887." on top arm and (engraved) "BY / Dexter Relief Corps / No19" on bottom arm, with loop and ring for suspension, plain edge, R. In researching this piece, similar pieces in bronze seem to be common, but none in gold were noted.
