TENASSERIM-PEGU: Anonymous, 17th-18th century, cast large tin coin (37.51g), Robinson-26 ff (Plate 10.2, 10.3, and 10.4), 68mm, stylized image of the "dragon on sea", with the waves portrayed as dots (28 dots in 3 rows) // 3-line Burmese legend, one of the finest known examples, still some traces of the original luster-like color, choice EF, R. Although this is a relatively available Tenasserim large coin, it comes in a bewildering variation of the quantity and arrangement of the dots representing the ocean waves.
