Ptolemaic Kingdom. Ptolemy II Philadelphos. 285-246 B.C. AR tetradrachm (27.8 mm, 14.09 g, 12 h). Struck 281 B.C. Diademed head of Ptolemy I right, several bankerstamp c/m's before face and on neck / ΠTOΛEMAIOY BAΣIΛEΩΣ, eagle standing left on thunderbolt, wings closed; Σ monogram / shield in left field; multiple small test punches concentrated in middle of right field.
