KYRENAICA, Kyrene. Circa 490-475 BC. AR Hemidrachm (9mm, 1.95 g, 8h). Attic standard. Silphion fruit / Head of Zeus-Ammon right within incuse square. Buttrey, Coins, Period I, Group 2, 83; SNG Copenhagen 1169; BMC 26-7. Good VF, toned. Excellent metal for issue.
