George V gold Sovereign 1913-C MS63 PCGS, Ottawa mint, KM20. Mintage: 3,715. A noteworthy date from this fleeting series, featuring surfaces that are a stunning shade of saffron and a boldly defined portrait of the King. The reverse motif displays a bit of softness, which is not unusual to the type, and the surrounding fields are fully lustrous and contain only the occasional wisp. Very desirable in this choice level of preservation, and with such a small mintage figure, likely to attract much attention.
