While the Proof 200 Peso issue of 1993 is somewhat more common, 100 examples having been struck, this is a type in a different league of scarcity, with only 12 issues of the [same weight] 100 Peso denomination minted in the same year. Accordingly, this issue sells for considerably more. A PR67 example hammered for over $6,000 in a House Palombo auction (Auction 16, Lot #417) in October of 2017, which leads one to wonder what this almost perfectly certified example will bring. Includes original mint flip.
