Münster "Peace of Westphalia" silver Medal 1648 MS63 NGC, Pax-96, Goppel-680. 58mm. 36.3gm. A scarce medallic issue showing Pax with cornucopia sitting in sun chariot pulled by crowned lions with scepter (Spain) and arrow bundle (Netherlands). The medal's glasslike fields exhibit light tone, with gentle amber color framing the peripheries. Very historical, with fitting imagery to commemorate the Peace of Westphalia in 1648. Housed in an oversized NGC holder.
