Saxe-Coburg-Gotha. Karl Eduard gold Proof 10 Mark 1905-A PR66 Ultra Cameo NGC, Berlin mint, KM169, Jaeger-273. Mintage of 489 pieces in Proof. The lone 10 mark coin minted from the Saxe-Coburg-Gotha line and only struck during 1905. A glorious example of this rare Proof issue. The fields are watery mirrors with heavily frosted devices and stunning cameo appearance. The surfaces are essentially flawless and PR66 Ultra Cameo seems to be the lowest grade one might consider for this piece. None have been certified finer and only one other piece has been given a PR66 rating and we doubt that it could be as nice as this amazing coin.
