William III Shilling 1700 MS62 NGC, KM504.1, S-3516. An unusually well-preserved Shilling, and the penultimate year of issue under William III. This pleasing specimen shows mint luster subdued over time through a dove-gray tone; the strike is bold, and despite some metal flecking (extremely common for the type), the coin is without problems and deserving of its Mint State grade. Thoroughly satisfying and an excellent type representative.
