Victoria gold 2 Pounds 1893 MS64 PCGS, KM786, S-3873. One of just two 2 Pound piece types produced during Victoria's reign, generally seen as a Proof but here offered in its business strike format. Portraying the mature, draped bust of Victoria, this piece has radiant orange-gold tone over its well-struck surfaces, intensely lustrous with the true 'Mint State' look so divorced from the usual proof contrast. Minor light contact marks are noted on the surfaces, but generally this piece is choice for its grade and worthy of a premium bid.
