Boldly toned (unusual for this issue), of deep color and with sharp remaining detail, this 5 Pound coin has clearly encountered minimal handling over the last 117 years. Some hairlines are evident indicative of movement within a case (and in line with the grade), but hardly detract from the eye appeal of this large size gold proof.
