Great Britain
George V Crown 1934 MS63 NGC, KM836, S-4036, ESC-373 (R2). With a mintage of just 932 pieces, the 1934 Crown is by far the rarest date of the Wreath Crown series. Accordingly, this type has been heavily counterfeited, genuine examples becoming harder and harder to locate in any grade. This present choice Mint State specimen is of extreme rarity thus, decidedly prooflike with a high amount of flash to the fields. Having matured minimal tone, the planchet remains a bright argent in color with only minimal contact marks in the fields (in line with the grade). A near unbeatable grade for this elusive date, and sure to appeal to specialist collectors of British Crowns.
