Ottoman Empire. Abdul Aziz Pattern 2 Piastres AH 1281 (1864/5) MS65 NGC, Tunus mint (in Tunisia), KM161 (as "Possibly a Pattern," variety without name of the Bey of Tunis). A near-flawless example of this rare one-year type. Well struck, with full luster beneath light golden patina. This is the only example certified, in any condition, by NGC or PCGS.
