A marvelous example boasting exceptionally sharp detail and the characteristic satiny surfaces of a shipwreck issue, a quality admired by many collectors. The planchet is a rich gold color, endowing the piece with a well-deserved feel of a true treasure find. Close to the finest graded, with only a single MS65 example seen by NGC.
