Maximilian "Small Letters" Pattern Peso 1866-Mo MS63 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM-Pn100, El-171, WR-64. Featuring the head of Maximilian with lettering in the obverse legend that is noticeably smaller than the normal circulation strike legend. The reverse portrays crowned arms with date and value. Boldly struck, save for the usual area of strike-softness on Maximilian's hair that corresponds with the reverse shield, complete with a sublime mottling of gunmetal and blush tones that cover both sides.
