Indonesia Tael ND (1939-40) MS62 NGC, Bruce-11, Sch-1456. From the R.T. Braakensiek Assaying and Refining Workshops LTD. Obv: Native holding shoulder pole. Reverse: Border of 12 five-pointed stars. An exceptionally rare type, this is one of only two examples which NGC has graded Mint State, the other also an MS62. Very attractive surfaces for the grade with a reverse that is essentially glasslike, and endowed with a graceful silver patina.
