Issued to commemorate the visit of Peter I to the Paris Mint on June 1, 1717. Obv Armored bust of Peter I wearing an ermine mantle. Rev. Glory holding trumpets while flying toward the setting sun. Light hairlines with superb strike and reflective fields. Light golden toning enhances this spectacular medal. Very rare and the first silver example of this medal we have seen. Housed in an NGC oversized holder.
