A pleasing example struck on a broad flan, allowing ample room for the viewer's enjoyment of detail, which appears to have been expertly engraved in more realistic style than commonly found for the type. The rendering of Isabella's portrait is particularly well-conceived, with an equal degree of clarity shown on the majority of the reverse shield. Lustrous throughout, with a light tone adding a shadowing element surrounding the struck devices.
