Rama IV gold 1/8 Baht (Fuang) 1864 MS64 NGC, KM-Y8a, Fr-22. A very rarely seen type, PCGS and NGC have only graded a total of four of this issue to-date. The SCWC lists the type at $5,000 in UNC condition, which, though we could not find any specific sales records to back this, may well be correct given what a much cruder "Good Fine" and possibly previously mounted example sold for with Dix Noonan Webb in 2015 - 600 GBP hammer (Sale 129, Lot#587). Satiny throughout, with subtle luster and pleasing eye appeal.
