AVRELIVS CA-ESAR AVG PII F, bare-headed, draped bust of Marcus Aurelius right, seen from behind / TR PO-T-VIIII COS II, Roma standing facing, head left, Victory in right hand, parazonium in left. Cf. RIC II (Antoninus Pius) 464a. BMCRE (Pius) 840. Calicó 1950a (corrected, without cuirass as described in text). Crisply struck and problem-free, with a pleasing high-relief portrait of Marcus as a man in his prime, at age 34.
