IMP SEV ALE-XANDER AVG, laureate head of Severus Alexander right, drapery on left shoulder / P M TR P VIII COS III P P, Severus Alexander, branch upward in right hand, and Victory, both standing in quadriga half left, horses being led by soldier on left, spear in right hand, and another soldier on right, the cart flanked by two soldiers holding spears on left and another with spear on right. RIC IV.II 499. (SC omitted from reverse). Rare type - only one example in sales archives.
