D N GRATI-ANVS AVG, pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Gratian left, seen from front / GLORIA ROMANORVM, Gratian standing facing, in military dress, head right, transverse spear in right hand, globe in left; all under arch, ANT* in exergue. RIC IX -, cf. 29c (different obverse legend break and rosette-diademed). Well struck with incredible eye appeal and deep cabinet toning.
