Ruling in the West with Honorius, Constantius III might have been the one person to reverse the ill tide that had swept over the Western Empire due to the incompetence of Honorius. His army defeated the Visigoths and recaptured Honorius' sister, Galla Placidia, from the Visigoths whom he immediately married. Their children were Princess Honoria and the future emperor Valentinian III. He supposedly died of illness in 421.
