Degraded wreathed head right, heavy spike across wreath / Sinuous horse right, abstract rider above with numerous large pellets, eye with pellet. ABC 515. Sills 457-459. VA -. BMC -. Extremely rare - only one example found in sales archives (Spink, Auction 15049, 2 December 2015, lot 9, realized 2000 GBP). Found in Britain.
This is from the first regular gold coinage struck in Britain and predates the Gallic prototypes of the Durotriges and the Ambiani biface type noted on the holder.
