Late lifetime to early posthumous issue of uncertain eastern mint, ca. 325-305 BC. Head of Athena right, wearing Corinthian helmet pushed back on head, the bowl decorated with griffin right / ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ / ΒΑ-ΣΙΛΕΩΣ, Nike standing left, wreath upward in right hand, stylis cradled in left; vertical thunderbolt above Φ in left field. As noted by CNG - the most unusual attribute of this coin is the full lock of hair below the jaw of Athena.
