Diademed head of deified Alexander III right, wearing horn of Ammon / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ / ΛΥΣΙΜΑXOΥ, Athena seated left, Nike crowning royal name in right hand, resting left arm on grounded shield decorated with lion head boss, transverse spear in background; MΔP monogram in inner left field, ΠΩ monogram below. Thompson, -. Müller -, cf. 510 (different exergual mark). SNG Copenhagen -. Sharply struck on satiny surfaces with a halo of luster around the portrait. Magnificent eye appeal, easily attaining the star designation.
