Diademed head of Antiochus I right / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ / ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ, Apollo seated left on omphalus, testing arrow in right hand, resting left hand upon grounded bow behind; Δ within circle in inner left field. SC 435.1 (Antiochus I). ESM 695 (Antiochus I). Crisply struck on beautiful satiny surfaces.
Although SC and Newell both assign this issue to Antiochus I, dated to Series II (ca. 268-261 BC), NGC and every listing in sales archives describes this coin as belonging to Antiochus II (261-246 BC).
