Ferdinand VI gold 8 Escudos 1759 So-J MS63 NGC, Santiago mint, KM12, Onza-657. Variety with the King's name spelled out as "FERDINANDUS". Well preserved with full-bodied bloom residing in the fields, deeply impressed legends on both sides, and few handling marks for the designation. In a level of technical quality that surpasses the typical representative of this type, this offering is currently the only certified Mint State example from this two-year subtype that features the King's name spelled out and the golden fleece correctly placed on the reverse.
