Eichstätt - Bishopric. Sede Vacante 2 Taler 1790-W MS65 NGC, Nürnberg mint, KM95, Dav-2212. Engraved by Johann Peter Werner. This piece was issued after the death of Johann Anton III and was the last Sede Vacante issue prior to the secularization of the bishopric. A true gem, with dazzling brightness expressed throughout, sharply executed strike, and a gentle caress of tone to round off what is a near unrivaled aesthetic.
