Victoria gold Proof 5 Pounds 1893 PR65 Ultra Cameo NGC, KM787, S-3872. With just 773 issued, the 1893 Proof Set was introduced to celebrate Thomas Brock's new 'widow head' portrait of Victoria - her final portrait featured on British coinage, in use until her death in 1901. In recent years, the popularity for this set has soared with the Proof 5 Pounds attracting particular attention in any grade, and the visual appeal of this present specimen offers a clear explanation why.
