KM-PS22, S-PS15. A high-tier example of this popular Proof Set with excellent grades and superb eye appeal. As the photographs will show, the 5 Pounds has an intensely strong Cameo portrait of George VI; quite why it has not been identified as such is unclear, as this is very unusual for the type and highly collectible. The outlier for grade is certainly the Sovereign, a lofty premium gem with flawless mirrored fields and extremely few hairlines. A choice group of above-average production quality and preservation, accompanied by its original red box of issue.
