Dutch Colony. Batavian Republic gold Specimen Gulden 1802 SP62+ PCGS, Enkhuizen mint, KM83a, Sch-489 (RRR). Off-metal striking in gold. The only example of this exceedingly rare gold striking graded by PCGS, with just four others certified by NGC. This piece boasts highly glossy surfaces of butter-gold color, the devices well-struck up giving admirable depth to the central ship and shield, dashes of deep red toning cloaking the reverse crown. A wonderful offering of immense quality, one virtually never seen on the marketplace.
