A popular and emblematic early republican gold issue, the iconic hand over book design still presenting good definition on the fingers, and CONSTITUCION still fully legible. Many of the 8 Escudos KM-93 (particularly the year 1836) were coined over 8 Escudos KM-84. This is NOT one of those overstruck coins.
