Charles VI (1380-1422) gold Ecu d'Or a la couronne ND MS62 NGC, Toulouse mint (pellet beneath 5th letter), Fr-291, Dup-369. +KΛROLVS: DЄI: GRΛCIΛ: FRΛNCORV: RЄX, crowned royal shield / +XPC: VInCIT: XPC: RЄGNΛT: XPC: IIIIPЄRΛT, cross fleury with six-pointed star in center and inward-facing lis in angles, all within quatrilobe; crowns in spandrels. 1st emission (from 11 March 1385). A comparatively elite specimen minted on a very fully flan, the central regions particularly enticing and replete with die polish lines.
