Louis XV gold Louis d'Or 1726-A XF Details (Harshly Cleaned) NGC, Paris mint, KM489.1. Apparently rather lightly cleaned for the designation, satiny luster protected close around the legends and strikingly bold die polish on the reverse. Some minimal planchet imperfections exist, but hardly detract from what is a rather handsome piece.
