Richard III (1483-1485) Groat (4 Pence) ND VF Details (Cleaned) NGC, London mint, Sun & Rose mm (SR1), 2.91gm, S-2154, N-1680. An extremely desirable emission from this short-lived English king and the final ruler of the Plantagenet household before the accession of the Tudors, even when found in this grade. The reverse long cross has left rather little impact on the king's bust, which for its part preserves a seemingly emotional expression, and minor doubling and a die shift on the reverse.
