Great Britain
Charles II silver Proof Pattern Farthing 1665 PR63 NGC, KM-PnR33, Peck-414. Short hair, reeded ("straight-grained") edge. A very scarce pattern which always comes richly craved, due just as much to its being the first allegorical depiction of Britannia on a British coin since the age of the Roman Empire as to its rarity, seen here with an incredibly neat and precise style of execution more reminiscent of a medal than a circulation issue.
