William IV gold Sovereign 1833 AU Details (Repaired) PCGS, KM717, S-3829B, Marsh 18. Scarce, as are the majority of Sovereigns issued under the short-reigned 'Sailor King'. The obverse has encountered some smoothing at some time or another, but nonetheless retains considerable charm, colored lemon-gold with significant luster at the peripheries. The reverse is untouched with an even greater depth of shine. An altogether praiseworthy example of this ever sought-after denomination.
