Philip II (1556-1598) 8 Reales ND S AU55 PCGS, Seville mint, Cal-235 (?). Handsome if typically unevenly struck, the regions around the royal arms especially original and lustrous silver, and the obverse a russet orange. Though designated as Calico 235 on the holder, which lacks an assayer's initial, the placement on the S in relation to the denomination across the shield suggests a letter beneath the mint mark, obscured by the flan flaw.
