Charles II 8 Reales 1683 (Aqueduct)-B/R AU50 NGC, Segovia mint, cf. KM111 (unlisted date), Cal-410. An incredible state of preservation for this earlier milled type, the devices with a pronounced chiseled appearance cushioned by fine die polish and just the slightest hints of high-point friction. A predominantly blue tone peaks out from the surfaces of the reverse, imbuing the dove-gray with a very antique finish.
